I am researching the best size tank to get and narrowed it down to 3 sizes.

96x48x30 535gal
120x48x30 670gal

96x48x36 620gal

It will have an green or red Aro and Dats, maybe some others, not sure.

I am thinking the 670 is the best. The 670 and 620 are within 100 dollars of eachother but would the extra 6 inchs of height be better than 2 feet of length?

Also the 670 and 620 are about 2 times the price of the 535, is it worth 2000 dollars for that extra size or would the fish be equally happy in all three? I would not overstock as I want the fish to be happy. Also these are acrylic tanks, would glass be better? The same questions apply to glass as the price difference seems about the same percentage wise.Thanks.

Hmmm... This is a difficult one.On one hand the tall tank has great visual impact, but on the other 120*48*30 tank will be best for the fish, it is totaly up to you but I suggest the 670g tank.

i like long and short tanks
the fish need a foot print
that needs to be bigger
hight only matters with few fish

670g, The extra height would be nice if you were planting emergent plants but isn't really needed for the fish, they will like the extra length and it will give you more growing room

I've decided to go with a similiar size acrylic 144"x48"x30". I think its a perfect size for just about anything you would consider keeping. Good luck.

Even better! YAY! How much $ if you dont mind saying and do they deliver?
