Anyone watch this?

Minor spoilers......



Basically it's about some kind of virus outbreak. Syfy tries to make it seem like a movie, however I noticed so far the deathrate is very low(normal for a TV show). You can tell this is their(syfy's) version of the walking dead. It's ok so far. It was a hour and half for the first episode.

Previews look interesting but I'll more than likely sit this one out since it is a Sci Fi production...I am looking forward to watching Last Ship in a few months.

Hmm hopefully its on demand, the commercials intrigued me. I watch the corny syfy productions more as comedys then as actual scifi/horror haha so either way it should be good

It was very limited on commercials. It took nearly the first 30 minutes before the first commercial. I believe there were only two during each set of commercials. I hope this last. I didn't see any of syfy's corny stuff. If I had to complain about anything I'd say the acting could be better but this is definitely above syfy's normal.

This seems above syfy's normal. What is this Last Ship? What channel?

It's based on a novel if the same name about a naval destroyer that houses some survivors of a global catastrophe.It starts this summer on TNT.

Watching it now, not to bad. Like you said acting could be better but I have seen worse acting, especially on a SyFy productions and low budget horror flicks.

Watched the Pilot and Vector.. this is seriously messed up haha. The idea of some sick person just pouring some terrible retro-viral-vector thing down your throat with its own mouth is horrifying haha

I see what you guys say about the acting, compared to movies like Dino Shark or Sharknado though the acting on this is grade A though hahaha

I look forward to finally having a new show to watch fridays.. the big bosnian security guard is probably the corniest character. Or farragut haha. At least most of the CDC girls are eye candy
