Hello all. Ive been reading this forum for quite some time,but just registered. lots of good info here.

anyhow, this is one of my fishes , emperor snakehead. around 12 inches now .currently in temporary tank,waiting for me to finish constructing his new tank.hahah gonna take a while.
feed daily mainly on.. almost anything moving- crickets from LFS,shrimps ,house lizard,cockroach,centipede, earthworm, superworm, frogs and grasshoppers. very active and curious, would attack at my finger thru the glass like he hasnt eaten a year,but when i put my finger in water,he would sniff, nudge and the just circle around.
I used ketapang leaves in water. the flowers are getting clearer.

scharoel :actually I remember I read your posts about keeping marulioides and that triggered my desire to keep one. I just measured my sh properly, it is actually just 10 inches. hehe.

follen : indeed . the picture doesnt give the sh justice. the colours are more vivid and intense. forgive my crappy cameraphone

thanks all. indeed a nice channa. i just feed him some crickets and fat earthworms. I think he recognize the cricket container because when he sees me carrying it from afar he would turn berserk mode.

im trying to get a hold of some gachua or lucius in the near future,just need to set up the place first.maybe wild caught,if i can find some nice ones.
