greetings to everyone. i hope to learn more from and impart my modest knowledge to fellow MFK regulars. im currently keeping 3 species of bichirs, a clown knifefish, a giant gourami, large central and south american cichlids, large plecos and some others. im planning to acquire large growing south american catfish when living space allows. thanks.

how big is the giant gourami?

thanks for the welcome. wait til i get a decent camera then i'll post some pix of my charges. i forgot to mention my saucer-sized silverdollars (metynnis). my giant gourami is almost a foot long and it has been with me for 8 months (i got it at 3" SL).
