I am not on pair with you guys, and your mega tanks 1000+ Gallons. I am new to the fish hobby, but I have just caught the bug and cant wait to get to 1000+ gallon level.
Currently I have a 55G tank with 6 bala sharks, 1 rainbow shark, and 1 Red Tail Black Shark. I have already started saving for my 200G tank; the day I bought my 55G I setup the savings account. My question is how much I should look to pay for a 200G tank. Also I have found the canister filter Im going to buy, but the heater is a problem, I love the look of a canister system where you can't see anything in the tank but the fish. So I wanted to get an Inline water heater, the problem I found is they only make 300W Inline heaters. Some places say I can use a 300W it will take a long time to get to 78F but once there the 300W will keep it there, the canister filter splits the output into two lines; would using 2 300w Inline heaters work? One on each output.
Thanks for any suggestions.

As far as tank size everyone has to start somewhere..
