Hi everybody, my name is Travis
I have been reading threads for a couple months now but I've only posted once so I decided to introduce myself and start posting more.
I am 18 and I've been recently exploring myself to see what hobby I enjoy the most.
I tried fish, reptiles, amphibians, plants, and many more and in the end of it all I found a great passion for fish in myself. I've slowly been converting anything I have to fish and demonstrating to myself and to all others that I can responsibly care for and clean after fish.
Right now I have a 10g planted tank, a 29g simulated creek with newts and guppies and a pleco, and a 30g community tank.
My 30g community tank has had the same healthy fish in it for almost a year and since everything is outgrowing it, I am upgrading to a 60 gallon soon.
In my tank I have living happily despite it seeming crowded:
Needle Nose Gar
Senegal Bichir
Hi-fin Pleco
Black Molly (I hate him but he was my first fish)
Black Ghost Knife
Pictus Catfish
Blue Whale
Archer Fish
Bamboo Shrimp
2 Australian Rainbow Fish
Knight Goby
Brown Knife
All of them right now are decent size and I have had no casualties in 6 months since I lost a Mono Sebae.
But within the month I am transferring them all to a 60g as I stated before.
And as a project between my dad and I for my graduation I am starting a 39g Reef Tank in a separate room.
Anyways, I love this forum and just wanted to say hi
