Hello out there,

Just thought I should introduce myself to you all. I'm a beginner aquarist, although I barely would pass as that as I don't have any aquariums, nor experience with them. However, I've decided to embrace the hobby with both arms!

I realize that I have a ton of information to learn, although it seems that with the wealth of information within these forums, I'm on the right track. I must give credit to my good friend AquariumJunkie, for referring me to this wonderful site, and instilling within me the desire to become a true keeper of fish!

Wish me luck! :headbang2

Welcome to MFK... and we all had to start somewhere... you will definitly learn here... and most of all have some fun while you are learining...the pictures here are incredible ... so much to see.. so make your self at home and enjoy.... :D

welcome! i suggest starting with a bigger tank than ten gallons. smaller tanks are harder to maintain, because even a little food can cause serious problems with water quality. thats teh first mistake i made!

I'm definetly going to start with a decent tank, if anything my problem will be that I'm over ambitious. Soon I'll be starting a 55 gallon, although I haven't decided exactly what to stock it with, although I'm thinking to make it an African Cichlid tank. Hopefully that will give me the practice I need for my 125 gallon discus tank. :naughty:
