Hello, I am new to the forum but not that new to aquaria. I am 34, and have been keeping fish since I was 15 or so. I started with tetras and mollies, moved on to Kribensis and Angels and finally landed on African cichlids. From there I have kept mbuna, a colony of kaiser tropheus, a bunch of Tang shell dwellers, and some other stuff.
I am in the process of changing my barely populated 55 gallon over to something, what I don't know yet and I also have an empty 75 gallon that I am going to set up in the next couple of months. (Right now I am thinking about doing a mbuna community tank with black 3m sand subtrate, but who knows?)
I live outside of the Chicagoland area, but my town has zero in the way of a good LFS. So any mail order success stories would be helpful.
I am basically looking to do as much research as I can and exchange ideas with all the knowledgeable people here on MFK. Looking forward to your 2 cents.
