I live in Green Bay, WI and have been in the hobby for 30 yrs. I started at the age of 12 with a 10 gallon tank with 2 fantail goldfish and 1 chocolate oranda plus 6 neons that were reduced to 1 overnight. Trust me for a 12 year old I was not happy considering that I had saved my allowance for months to get a tank to only have the dumb ass at the pet store tell me a bunch of bull. Yes I made my mother drive me to the mall the next day so I could complain and buy a book on aquariums at which point I pointed out to the manager and the sales associate who took advantage of me the proper way to setup a tank and the fish who get along with each other. I still get hot when I think back to this.
Currently I have the following tanks in my home.......
180 gallon drilled with sump/refugium saltwater tank
75 gallon freshwater (assorted tetras, filamentous barbs, a krib, a panadon butterfly, roseline sharks, common brown BN, golden albino BN, and angelfish)
50 gallon reef tank
34 gallon reef tank
140 gallon freshwater breeding system with resevoir (8- 10 gallons, 3- 20 gallons)
5.5 gallon micro tank
roughly 600 gallon Koi pond
Well that is pretty much me. Thanks
