Hey i am new to this site as well as the hobby of piranha keeping so any help at all that you can give me over time would be great right now i have.

80 Gal - 4 4-5" red bellies

15 gal - feeder tank with medium sized comets

I know that feeders are not the best i also use occasional veggies and bloodworms the feeders are mostly a treat

Now my main question is i want to get my RBP's aggression up i know they are a little wimpier than other breeds but i got these guys for free so i took them

also how many can i max out an 80 Gal with before i need to upgrade i really do not wanna upgrade no room right now

thank you

Welcome to MFK. Try other foods too, such as beefheart, other worms, pieces of shrimp and silversides.

Welcome to MFK inspectahdeck34, there are a few good piranha experts here that are going to become invaluable to you as your experience grows.

Good stuff, be sure to fatten and gut load your feeders with quality flakes as your piranhas benefit from what the goldfish have taken in. However goldfish are not the best feeder, their spine can be a nuisance and carp fish have a vitamin that restricts growth. Have you considered cichlids?

Now my main question is i want to get my RBP's aggression up i know they are a little wimpier than other breeds
Firstly having a dark substrate and dark background is becoming proven to increase fish aggression in general. And even if it does not help your piranha aggression in this case, it looks great and deepens your piranhas colours.
A strong current in the tank (produced by a power head) keeps the piranhas active, on the move and forever patrolling. It stops them getting lazy and hence in a sense they get more aggressive.
Also dim the lights in some way, piranhas will be skittish if in intense light.
In general, you will see more of their natural aggressive behaviour by replicating their natural livings (flowing water, dark environment etc).

also how many can i max out an 80 Gal with before i need to upgrade i really do not wanna upgrade no room right now
Your 80 gallon will do those four piranhas for their entire life. A general rule for red bellies is 20 gallons per piranha.

Any chance of piranhas? Welcome to our little society again!

here is my stock

as of last night when i started i got 4 red bellies for free from my cousin one has an eye missing but he has had it since he was dime size my cousin said so i called him long john siver any ways here are some pics the glass needs a washing i apologize for that

whole tank shot the glass needs a cleaning but the stand is homemade tank is 80 Gallons

one of my plecos i cant find my other 8 incher i think its in one of my ornaments

Nice setup and what great freebies. They are going to be stunners in good time!
Is the smaller tank in the bottom left corner of picture number 4 the feeder tank?
I would definably suggest a black substrate (sand or gravel) at some point. The great colours of the piranhas will intensify and show so much more against the darkness!

Technically speaking, it is 20g per adult RBP, so an 80g is perfect for 4 reds for life....Then again, larger tanks are always way better....For example, my youngest shoal is about 4.5 inches-5 inches too, there are 6 of them....At 1 inch, I grew them out in a 100g for a month or two...After "boot camp", I finally placed them in their own 180g....White fish fillets, Cat fish heads, Shrimp/Prawns, and color enhancing pellets is the my p's basic diet...Starting in January, for a treat, I'll introduce pinkies(newborn mice/rats) to their diet twice a month....
