I recently found this site and hope that I can gain more enlightenment about the fish I presently keep. I'm not really new to the hobby, I've worked in the Aquarium/Pet Industry both on the retail and wholesale levels some years back. Plus I used to breed reptiles also.

I used to have a well planted 200gal tank, with a handful and a half of Wild Angles, an Austrian Arowana, Pink Convicts, & Tricolor Sharks. After boring of the Arowana and giving it away, I acquired some Gourami's while awaiting something better to catch my fancy. Well the Gourami's that I acquired are Redtails need I say more. In 75 days these gourami's went from 3 inchers to 11 inche Beasts. They eat whatever I feed them. Plus they loved eating my planted tank almost bare. Redtails are pretty cool, for now. Now that I added algae to there diet, there Java Moss munchie have tapered off
