I have kept cichla fish for 5 years now and doing well with them they are quite smart fish . I have to species cichla temensis and ocellarus in order for me to keep these large fish large water changes are a must every four days they see new water. I feed them no live food there main diet is black tager prowns,jumbo earth worms cichlid gold pellets. when they are yung i feed them fresh water mysis from piscine energetics and it really gives them a good start but most of all WATER CHANGES are soo inportent my temensis is at two feet log and she is a sweet heart. I would really like to get a hold of Scott the dessiel man so maybe I can learn some more about the species.
