Hello everyone :D
i am HOPEFULLY going to be receiving a approx. 300 gallon tank with the bottom glass broken. i am going to be trying to repair the bottom glass, and was wondering if anybody has any information that could help me with it. if i get it set up, i will be buying a either silver or black arowana! i just need to find a store that sells them haha. back to the tank.. I was thinking about getting probabaly 3/4' glass cut at the local hardware store, is that an ok size? and any recommendations on the caulk? and if i get this all set up, im going to have to build a stand also.. it will be a fun project that i am hoping to complete if i get the tank!
please no flaming :x

once i get the tank set up, i would completely appreciate any information about arowana setups, (plants, compatible fish etc)

thanks for all response and help!!!!!!!

I don't know much about glacier but you may want to go with thicker glass. Research and see if you can find out what glass of that thickness is rated weight-wise. There's going to be a TON of weight on it if you consider your livestock, substrate, rockwork and water. I think it's like 8 pounds per gallon of water? Your looking at something that needs to be able to handle all that stress!
