Hello everyone, i saw at the LFS today a pictus catfish. Looked real interesting to me. Im wondering how fast they grow? And how do u guys think they would do with an arowana and a motoro stingray? I would say they were babies. Real small, about 2-3" for 10 bucks. I was thinking id have to get one bigger than those if i do want one. My ray is about 6-7", i wouldnt think she would try to arm the cat but u never know with fish.

I wouldn't do it if i were you. The ray may end up eating it and the spines could harm the ray

If I was to get one it would be when my 300g ply tank is done

But when the ply tank is all set. I plan on getting 2 other rays so if it's not safe for one or the other fish I won't do it

We have 2 pictus catfish at my work and I think they're cool. Your arowana should be okay with it, im not sure about the stingray cuz I'm never taken care of one. But pictus will be 9 or 10 inches if I remember correctly. If I had the room, I would get one lol
