I am a arowana enthusiast i had a couple when i was still in the Philippines. My collection back then was a gold arowana, Green arowana, Silver arowana, chilli red arowana, Aropaima gigas, African red tail catfish. I had four 112 gallon tanks 2 ponds which had the aropaima in one and the silver in the ohter. when i left the philippines i sold most the fish i had now only the gold arowana if left and being taken cared of my relative.the 112 gallon Tanks had three stage fiilters which had bioballs combination of fine and course filters, stones, peat moss etc. which really kept the water in top conditon. I have always wanted to get a arowana here in the US but i only silvers or black are available. Its really hard to find variety here since its really sttrict hear in the US. I hope someone can help find one goild or green. .. thank guys

I see your interested in other Arowanas...you can get others besides Silver and Black Arowana and since your now in California you can get Jardini Arowana and Leichardti Arowana 
They look similar to Asian Arowanas here in the US.
