Hello MFK, my name is Garrett, and am new to not only the forums, but also monster fish keeping in general. My family is filled with fish keepers, so I am certainly not new to helping maintain other's tanks. Growing up I got the opportunity to take care of a Pleco-Oscar tank, Various minos, and a Saltwater reef tank with sea stars and clown fish.

Once I moved out I started keeping smaller fish (Mollies, Platies, Black Phantom Tetras) but after a few months started to fall in love with cichlids and false/spiny eels.

I currently keep the fore-mentioned fish as well as a Striped Peacock Eel, Striped Raphael Catfish, Blood Parrot Cichlid (Wonderful fish with great personality, though a bit of an ethics question), Firemouth Meeki, and a Jack Dempsey Cichlid.

I have three tanks, a 10, 29, and 55 gallon I am setting up. The cichlids are but babies at the moment and temporarily in the 29, until I dump some sand/gravel/plants/etc. into the 55.

Look forward to meeting everyone, and hearing your suggestions/opinions on my fish, my tanks, and educate me further.
