Im new to monster fish keepers and would just like to say hello to everyone first of all.
I had a silver arowana for many years but it died last year so I decided to get myself another about 3 months ago. This time i have went for a RTG highback and he has been great until a few weeks ago. He still seems happy enough just isn't eating..... anything. I have looked on the net and some people say its a faze they go through and he will eat when hes hungry but i dont want him to starve. He was eating 10 or 12 milo worms (large mealworms) every couple of days and he was really lapping them up now he just ignores them. He is in a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft tank and lives with a 10 inch black knife fish but that is all that is in my tank. I have a mix of sand and gravel on the floor with a few pieces of bog wood and an artificial plant. I have it at 28 degrees and run an FX5 filter. Ive beeen changing the water every 3 days but dont think there will be a nitrate problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hes about 10 inches long.......
