Just registered as I hope to find useful information about setup of a sort of bigger tank. Currently I run several nanos from 6 to 50 liters and one tank with 485 liter, about 120 gal. My plans are to get a smaller tank, move fish and plants, get rid of the old tank, then upgrade the base and later build a tank of 150 to 170 gal.
So my interest is more in monster-tank setups than monster fish... my ultimate goal is to keep some discus with lots of tetras, some corydora and other catfish
