hi, my name is nick and im from Australia.

ive been a member for ages and once posted a pic i took in the point and shoot section, but i lost the sight ages ago and couldnt even see the replies to my thread......but im here to stay now.

first ide like to say how good you all are at taking photos, and i hope i learn heaps.

i dont have a DSLR, but am currently looking into buying one, my plan was to buy a Canon ESO 400D with a twin lense kit.

does any one know if these camera are any good?

my budget is around 1500 AUD, im open to any suggestions to what type of camera i should get

We have 3 tanks, 2 6x2x2's (one with discus and tetras, and the other with an oscar, jack dempsey and a severum) the other tank is a small tank (36x15x18) with lake malwi mbuna

I got some friends living there, but they are mostly closer to Rainbowfishes…
As I see your tanks – you are not much fan of these your native fishes…;)
But your two first tanks is definitely of my “blood group” also !
Waiting to see more photos of them…

btw....i do love natives, im waiting for tandanus to breed again so i can get some babies, and im also on the hunt for another big tank so i can have a mangrove jack in there.....problem is im running out of space!
