I just signed and must say this is a great site to get on when looking for info and advise. I am in the process of building a 4x8x2.5 above ground pond that will be wedged between a "U" shaped part of my deck. Would a 1/2 threaded rod be sufficient for reinforcing the 4x4 timber?
