I am new here i am currently cycling a 60 gallon long and tall for one baby jack dempsey hoping to get a male. i have an aquaclear 70 power filter
a good hood and light. 250 watt fully submersible heater.
1 inch of black gravel and various assorted large rocks.
minijet powerhead for oxygenated water.
hikari cichlid gold
nitrite and ammonia test kit
water conditioner anything else i may need im pretty sure the jd wont need a larger tank

a different fish then a jack get something a little bigger a single specimen get a red texas or a reg, texas a midas a red devil something worth while jacks are boring
