Thanks. Right now I have a 6in blueberry aro & 2 small silver dollars. Its kinda hard to see them in the pic but the aro is close to the top right
Welcome back!! Tank looks good, small picture though. A blueberry arowana? You know those are dyed silver arowanas right? Aros also grow very big and you will eventually need at least a 220g tank if you plan to keep it longterm
I know, I found that out after I bought him. I told the guy at uncle bills that I never heard of a blue arowana and he said they get them all the time.. (didnt tell me he was dyes that color). I read online that dyed fish don't live as long. That makes sense, but is it true? & yes I know he will outgrow my tank eventually but I figure as long as I dont have other big fish he's a little better off. At least he's not still in the 20 gallon tank at uncle bills. When he gets bigger I can personally find a good home for him, ya know?
