Hello I am a new member of this site and I was hoping if anyone out there lives in Toronto Canada or anywhere if fine also , I would lie to start a new chat line for those Canadian members that are into monster fish.

I have been a hobbyist for 20yrs and I recently got hooked on monster fish keeping and bass is my favorite.

If any of you members out there want to reply to my blog, I just want to know what part of the country your from, what species you carry and tank size.

I will start:

220G : 2-mONOS, 2- Temenis, 1- 24k Kelberis, 18inch shovelnose catfish , my tank is filtered ith 2 - FX5 filters

220G: 2- Ocsellis , 1 Mono , 1 - Temenis , 14ich redtail ctfish , mytank is filtered ith 2 - FX6 filters

I will try and shoot some pictures ASAP.

Cheers everyone. I hope to hear from you fellow Canadians

Hello, Welcome :)

I'm from Western NY. I currently have 180 gallon glass tank with 4 Rio Meta Orinos & 4 Tocantins Kelberi. For filtration I'm using 75 gallon sump and a 1600GPH return pump.

Thanks for your reply. I love this site an looking forward to chatting with members from all parts of the world.

You have a great collection but my concern is are they all in the 180g tank. I can tell you from experience, the Bass will outgrow that size even with mine at 220g I am only keeping 4 in each tank to minimize waste and growth

I would love to see some pictures

This site is amazing and there are so many good knowledgable people here :). As far as tank being too small I know. I picked those two species because there slow growing and smaller adult size. I'm about to sell my orinos anyway because they won't stop bothering the kelberis. Here's my thread if you want to see some pics.

Don't sell the orinos man. They are probably the nicest pBass in adult size. Can't beet the green color in them. :-)

I bought this bass for $200 Canadian$ and was told by the lfs its a 24k or gold Kelberi. It showed its colours at a young juvie age , purchased it at 3-4inches.
It has gown amazingly and I am told I own a 24k or gold4 Kelberi

Its about 14plus inches but my Mono male is lately bullying it around.

I have been offered $400 for this fish. Is there such a breed?

If so what are they worth adult size. I will post pictures ASAP
