Hi guys!

I am from the Philippines, a junior physical therapy student. I have started fish keeping in 2008. I have a black ghost knife fish in my 15-gallon tank [saving now to buy a bigger one] with other tropical fish. Recently, I have been wanting to get a dwarf puffer for my 5-gallon tank but I got a green spotted puffer fish. I am planning to return it to the shop and get a DP. However, I cannot find any stores here in the Metro that sell DPs. If anyone of you knows where, kindly inform us. :) Thank you! Happy 2011!

Philippines is my favorite place in the world to dive!

Be sure you only keep one DP in there. The BGK will eventually need a 90g tank

Welcome to MFK.

There are quite a few people on here from the Philippines. I am sure if you post in the right section of the forums for puffers, someone will be able to help you find what you are looking for. First, I would find that BGK another home. 15 gallon is way too small.

Thank you! I am aware that the BGK needs a bigger tank thats why I am saving some now. ;)

I still do not have a DP. What I got is a Figure 8 puffer and I have decided to keep it despite the spec requirements. I still have to buy a hydrometer and marine salt soon.

I haven't done diving here yet. HAHA. Maybe after graduation.

I will look for the post for puffers :D
I am actually planning to move my BGK to a bigger tank like 50 gal when I get my wage. HAHA. Thank you.

but I got a green spotted puffer fish.

Sorry. I figured out that it is Tetraodon biocellatus or Figure 8 puffer.
