Im assuming youre in Mobile or Baldwin county. Head east over to Navarre, FL and fish the Gulf. Its been on fire the last few weeks with a few sailfish landed, several hooked up, tons of mahi and a few black fin tuna right off the beach all caught by fellow yakkers. Ive caught three mahi and seen two sailfish personally but havnt hoot up to a sail myself....yet.
Ive been kind of guiding lately and put a "client" today on four kings, I caught five.

No. RARELY a lost one will be caught but they wont survive the winter. Heck an unusually cold winter can kill off tons of snook in central and south Florida.
