Looks like I was directed to the right site. A fellow aquaponics forum member gave me this site to learn about building tanks. Sorry I don't know your handle here but, thanks Kent and hello members.
I'm looking forward to becoming an aquaponics farmer where fish and plants help each other in one system. I've had several fish in the past such as Oscars, Parott and Cichlids. We just gave our last big Parott fish to some friends to start gearing up with a more suitable breed for my new plan. I have a 75 gallon purchased tank now with goldfish and some pond sunfish to keep the biological system going for use in my future tanks. Lord willing we will be able to move to another location soon where I will be able to focus on building/buying a much larger tank and start my aquaponic system. Size of the tank(s) will be about 700 gallon each. The fish will be Tilapia or cooler water fish like Perch, Bluegill or Catfish. Time will tell but after looking at some of the homemade tanks here I'm sure all the info I could want would be right here and I'll end up with the nicest aquaponic tank in the industry
...Thanks and God Bless, Billy
