Hello from Athabasca, Gateway to the Great White North!
I have had fish for many years, love the natives. I always wanted a 100-200g tank with a small school of 6-8 yellow perch.
But this is Canada, and Alberta has some tough laws regarding natives, you can't transport them away from the water (any fish unless dead...). Though I think I found a loophole of shipping them in from outside of the Country - but I hear there can be hassles of later trying to prove they were from out of the Country. I will keep looking it up... (any advice welcome)
But I do own a 55g community of tetra, danios, and a pair of rams as well as a 65g goldfish tank which overwinters a couple of my goldfish when their 300g pond is drained as you need 10+ feet deep to overwinter fish here.
Happy to be here!
