Hello everyone. I have been on this site and read a bunch of posts and info. It is a great site and very informative. I plan to put pics up here real soon, but for now, I will just tell what I have....
1 Red-Tail Catfish 18"
1 Buttakoferi 12"
1 Red Oscar 14"
1 Red Tiger Oscra 14"
1 Achara Cat 19"
1 Iridescent shark 11"
1 'Walking Catfish' 10"
1 Pleco 13"
2 Tiger Shovelnose Catfish 8"
1 Aztec Cichlid 17"
Community tank w/ 2 iridescent sharks, 3 convicts, tiger oscar, red oscar, raphael cat and 2 gourami.
Big Community tank w/ 1 upside down cat, 2 raphaels, 3 plecos, 1 'armored' catfish, couple of angels, silver dollar, black tetra's, 2 red-tail sharks, pink tetras and various goldfish.
Tank with about 30 convict babies in it from my paired set that will not stop reproducing!! Keeping them to give away.
Guess that is about all. Plans are to move to a bigger house in the next two months, and then get either the 240 gal, or at least the 180 that I want. That way I can put the Arowana in there that I want!!! I am also looking into an outdoor pond, because the Red-tail will be needing more room and that would be the best place to put him. Not sure if anyone else has this kind of experience or not, but I have had times where he lets me 'pet' him. he actually moves around my hand and comes back several times. My wife won't get near the tank, but he is very friendly. Now my Aztec, givin the chance, he would take your hand off. As they say....Does not play well wih others. I will post pics soon....
I recently had a problem and lost two fish
....my Green Severum and Rockeater. Both of which were about 10" or more. I almost lost the Achara, but 'nursed' him back to health, and now he is happy as ever.
