new to the forums. i have been out of the hobby for a while as i only have a 55g tetra aquarium (never did much with it) and a 29g salt. anyway i thought this would be this best way to get back into it. i am looking into setting up my 75 gallon with a wet dry trickle. I've always wanted an arowana and a florida gar. are they compatible. what else can go with them. i am going to upgrade the tank size this summer when i have a job. best way to set this up?

At the very smallest you could get, would be an 8'X2'X2' 240 gallon tank. But that tank size would be for a Jardini. But you have to think a silver aro can be upwards of 3' I would recommend staying away from an aro! Sorry man it sucks but if you want the best for the animal don't get one unless you can get a monster tank!
