I am stoping in to say hello. I just got back into fishkeeping after 5yrs. I used to keep a fish room with a bunch of 10 and 20 gal tanks. Now I have up and runing a 37gal tall with mostly livebreeders along with a 11" upside catfish and a plecko. some 10s will be going up soon for the fry I will be getting.
I am also a member of the Brooklyn Aquarium Society (BAS)
I am looking forward to reading all the great infomation you have on this fourm, and adding when and if I can.
The attached photo was taken pre fish.

I know these are not Monsters, but in the future, I will be looking at big cats. I am also thinking of doing a larger tank with fish I catch in a pond upstate. Bullheads, sunnys, blue gills and the like.

your welcome Brooklyn Tom..you can learn and investigate alot... so i am glad you have plans in the making..

very very nice.... thanks for sharing... i love their color...

Welcome back to the hobby and to MFK. I took a hiatus once. Then I found this 55 for free and my wife urged me to take it home because she knew I once loved fish keeping. She however wasn't around in that part of my life. I declined and told her she would be opening Pandora's box. She talked me into it and I now have eight tanks running.........think she'll listen the next time I warn her about something. lol she knows I'm obsessive.

Thanks, the molly gave me aprox 50 little ones a month ago. I moved them to a 10gal I had at work...3 days later they all died. I had a problem with the heater.
