I stumbled across this forum looking for any success at breeding marine groupers. I am looking to try and breed V-Tail groupers. I am located in Clarkston, MI which is about 30 miles North of Detroit. Any help or tips on breeding groupers would be welcomed and appreciated. My goal is to one day have a saltwater tank which is 100% man-made, meaning nothing in it came from the ocean. This can already be done with a few species of fish and fragged corals, but I would like to go further and have species of fish that are not commonly captive bred. Now, this will be the only time I plug my website, so that I am in compliance with forum rules. I am working on opening a business in which I have yet to have a single customer. I have not started advertising yet, but maybe I can one day be a supporter of this forum. One of these days, I might be able to be an eco friendly supplier. The main goal is to get others started in a saltwater tank who think it is too expensive to do so. I have step by step guidelines to do it in an inexpensive manner. I also want to save the ocean environment by making as much as possible not come from the ocean. The website is ecoreeftechnologies.com. I hope to be a contributor in the field of raising and breeding Monster Fish one day. Specifically, V-Tail groupers and possibly Marine Betas. Wish me luck, so I can do my part to save the oceans and reefs.
