Hello people,

I used to raise fish back in the day, probably 25 years ago when I was just a teenager. Well, I went away from this lifestyle and decided to come back this year when my brother decided he didn't want his 45 gallon tank and gave it to me. Well, I am definitely back into this lifestyle now!

You see I am in my final stages of becoming a New York State licensed psychologist. Right now I am finishing up my internship where I work with the developmentally disabled, the mentally ill, and substance abusers and I haven't even told you about the patients yet. LOL... I guess you can see why I need something to help me relax. I come home and my family knows to give me time with my fish while I regain my composure from a hard day at the office.

I've been looking to start another tank soon, not sure if I want to do Africans, South Americans, Salt Water, but I know I do not want to start another community tank.

Welcome, fellow New Yorker...My advice is to go to a local fish store and see what jumps out at you the most and then go with that theme.

Hello there, glad to see you joined us here, it is never to old to have fish.

ps. We like lattes better. :nilly: ...jk

Thank you for the greeting and making me feel welcome.

I have tried that and the problem is that they all jumped out at me. I have been thinking about a wolffish, but I am not sure if they are even available in my state. I would love some advice on whether it is possible to find one, where I should look, and if it is possible to get one that is between 1 and 2 inches.
