I have been using MFK for research for about 6-8months now. I have to say thank you to all who post such useful information. I started with a 30 gallon planted tropical community tank and soon added a 120 gallon. This was because we saw the cutest baby redtail catfish at our lfs. I rushed home to do my research using MFK and decided I had to have this fish. I am so glad we got this redtail as it is the coolest fish ever. He loves to eat from our hands and loves to play and be petted. Never thought having fish could be this much fun. Thanks for all the great information.

Well that's quite an upgrade fish wise! You see a lot of people on here buying rtcs cause they are cute when small but have to get rid of them when they start getting monstrous, I really want you to be the committed sort that does all they can to house and care for this great fish for its life time.
