Greeting,

First post here!

I am setting up a 55 freshwater tropical, for community fish (maybe a few semi agressives, once the community fish are big!), and have a quick question for those who may be online. I ordered a fluval 405, and just got a message from the seller, that it had been sent elsewhere and a Marineland Multi-Stage C-360 was sent to me. Seller said it is a better and more expensive filter......but I DONT THINK SO. (lol)

opinions, feedback?

Also for general info, and feedback, suggestions etc, I am using live plants, and plan on using an old Co2 tank with diffuser. I have gotten mixed information regarding the plants' need for UV florescent for the plants, but the tank is placed where is gets good indirect light.

Tank is currently stocked with goldfish, and in the process of cycling.

Thanks for the info I've already picked up on site!

i don't really have any feed back for the c-360 but i'm sure some one will. i personally like fluval cans and am curious to see what people have to say about the c-360.

I really like the C series from Marineland. Its worked really well for me (though I have a 160), and I would recommend them. I guess I'm biased though because I've never owned a Fluval.

Sup buddie I am from Monterey. Used to live up on casa nova street. I am in Sac now though for a while. Rep the miny bay man!

Gee.... not sure what to jump in on...

Surfing, Windsurfing or Fluval 405s....?

In the interest of time... I'll go with the Fluvals...

I have 9 Fluval 405... (see my post on "Fluval 405 Impeller Well Covers Breaking" for the specifics on how I run them and that problem), and have very good luck with them over all. With exception of the situation I mentioned above they have always run and have not let me down.

That being said, I would like to know about the C-360 and what others say about it...
