Hello everyone!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone on the site, been browsing quite a bit and finally decided to make a post.

My name is Chris and ive been keeping fish for a good 6 years now and let me tell you its the greatest hobby one can have. My main interest is cichlids but after some extensive reading in the arowana forums im quite tempted to drop some coin and get me a monster tank! I just recently caught MTS (multiple tank syndrome) so im trying to exercise a little restraint before makin the plunge haha.

I'ts nice to meet you all! This forum is massive, such a great site for information and i look forward to contributing whatever i can.:popcorn:

Thanks very much for the warm welcome. Those are some beautiful dogs you have in your avatar btw. I'm not too familiar with names.......i'm more of a cat person, but is that a doberman? the brown dog i ask because a friend of mine has one that looks exactly like him/her.

Hey man, i was wondering the same thing as you....nice to see some people on the site so close to home. We can trade info on good places to get quality stock i like it! Btw if your into africans, whether it be Tanganyika, Malawi or Victoria i know of a great place in Terrebonne called Quebec Cichlidee. They have quality fish and good contacts down in Africa they can get you whatever you want. They are a bit pricey but i dont mind paying for F0 or f1 fish that are trully stunning. I speak french very well too as my girlfriend is a quebecois so if you prefer to communicate like that no problem at all.

I do have a question hopefully somebody can answer....I tried several times to quote what someone had previously posted but was unsuccessful. How do i go abouts doing that?

Je suis content de t'entendre dire ça, je déménage à Montréal bientôt et je comptais acheter mes cichlids là-bas!! :O)
