Hello. Just a little about myself. My primary hobby is motorcycles but with winter coming I am trying to get back into fish again. I used to have your everyday tetra, angelfish, mollie, etc. tank then dropped a piranha into it and then had a piranha tank for a hair shy of ten years. It has been a long time since then. Now I feel like I am starting all over again. About six months ago I purchased a baby Tiger Oscar and baby bichir and put them in a 30 gallon tank. It only took a couple of days to realize that they have a lot more personality than my piranha ever had. Now I have a 75 gallon tank being custom built and also have a tiny tank with a couple of dwarf puffers and hill stream loach. I have been doing a lot of internet research and found quite a bit of info on the oscar but not much on the bichir. I seemed to hit the jackpot with this site. Hope to be around for a while.
