Hello from Nova Scotia

I stumbled across this forum today while searching for local aquatic photographers and thought I would sign up and see what this site is all about. Looks great!!

While I am not a photographer, I do enjoy looking at photos on various topics. More specifically, aquatic wildlife and underwater photography as I am primarily an aquariam hobbyist who fails miserably at taking pics. It seems to me that while the two naturally overlap: photography folk who take photos of fish and fish folk who love photos, folks like me are just better at the looking :lol:

If there are any photographers on this board from New Brunswick or Nova Scotia, I would very much like to talk to you about your work so please feel free to contact me. Don't get me wrong...I would love to talk with any aquatic photographer on this board. I've been looking through the threads and the pics are amazing but I would really like to connect with local folks. Thanks

Welcome to APF, Lis. Looking is the first step and there's plenty to look at here. But I hope we can persuade you to point a camera at an aquarium sooner or later

Thanks for the welcome Alan. It's not that I lack interest in capturing aquaria life in photos, but that I really haven't learnt the fundamentals and, as a result, my P&S camera simply fails me every time. Its more kinda hit and miss with me...with a vast majority of my attempts, a clear miss.

Still, there have been these pics that I will share with you all..please be kind
