I've just signed up, mainly to look at the photos - there is some fabulous photography here. I don't have the wonderful subject matter that some of you fine folk have - just a coldwater tank with some danios, white clouds and a single goldie. As they are all pretty active fish it's quite hard to capture them (they keep on getting out of focus before I get the chance to pull the trigger!)
Best efforts so far:
(danio being chased by long finned danio)
Juvenile white cloud.
I've now put a black background up on the tank now which is making a difference to the appearance of the photographs. Just haven't got any in focus shots with this set up yet!
(Canon 20D, 100mm macro, el-cheapo maide in China studio flash with softbox over tank, fill from a Sigma DG super to one side.)
