I'm a ladyperson living in Phoenix, AZ with a 125 gallon tank, currently stocked with a single ~16" long Vermiculated Sailfin Catfish (at least I'm pretty sure that's what he is).

I've recently obtained a quarantine tank, so that'll change, soon. Would love to have a tiger shovelnose or some other kind of awesome catfish! Unfortunately, most of the critters I'd want would prefer a much larger tank... someday! I'm interested in starting some DIY projects, as this place seems to be an excellent resource for relevant information.

I got into keeping fish because once, as a kid, my folks got me a couple of sunrise platys that died in less than a week... I wanted to know why! Found out it actually is not so difficult to keep fish healthy as long as you do your research and put a bit of effort into maintenance. A lot of folks seem to assume fish are "temporary pets" that will always die quickly. :c

Outside of feeshkeeping - I work a full time job, am an illustrator with a published comic, and am a graphic designer and run a clothing company. Also I have two cats.

Anyway, hello! It's been a while since I've signed up to a new forum. Hoping to discover this to be the awesome community it seems to be. <3

I'll check that place out, thank you! I usually go to the Ocean Floor.

Welcome to the forum! Love to see pictures of that pleco and here is info on it since I saw you weren't to sure on the ID http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/species.php?species_id=703

I did add one image in my post, let me know if it's not working! It shows up for me, but the image uploader was kind of confusing. I am fairly certain it's the correct ID, thank you for the link.

I visited there today! Very nice place in spite of it being oddly placed behind someone's house. Thank you for the suggestion. <3
