Hello all, I've been browsing this forum for some time now and thought it was time to say hi.
I am a Luthier and a rock musician.I play whatever instrument gets thrown at me as long as it has strings. Have been running my own business for several years. Also am a sound engineer and have mainly been involved in live broadcast. I built custom motorcycles for 11 years but just got sick and tired of being covered in oil, welding, fiberglass and paint. Much prefer guitars, YOU CAN'T FALL OFF THEM!
I am also a tropical fish keeper and at present have
1x 27 Liter planted Beta nano tank,
1x 110 Liter outdoor tropical aquarium,
1x 310 Liter indoor low-tec planted discus aquarium,
1x 27 Liter Wabi-kusa inspired aquarium,
1x barrel pond.

Here are a few pix of my tanks:

Beautiful tanks!! And welcome

Thank you so much... I was a bit afraid that I had posted too many pics for my first post,
I will however post build threads on each one as I go along.
I have just started building a new 200 liter "River Bank" Paludarium, that will take the place of my outdoor tropical tank. I dropped the aluminium stand off for welding today and hope to have it back on Monday or Tuesday. I went with aluminum, as this tank will be outside and was worried that mild steel would rust... I don't want 200 litres of water and fish washing across my patio...
Oh dear, I guess I do suffer from MTS!

Hi guys, here's a quick update on my Wabi-kusa inspired setup.
I was given six carnivorous pitcher plants and have placed them into the land portion.IMG_0626.JPGIMG_0621.JPG
Could someone please direct me to where I can start posting my build threads? I suppose I'd figure my way around soon enough. However, as the forum is rather laege, wouldn't mind a pointer... Thanks in advance, Barry.

Oops... Meant to say that the forum is rather large... Not "rather laege!"
I received a good selection of aquatic plants on Tuesday, so will be setting up a spare 2 foot holding tank, firstly to quarantine them and to keep them going while I start on my Paludarium build. (I prefer placing anything new for my aquariums under quarantine as I don't want to introduce and disease or snails into the tanks.
