A big hello to everyone on MFK. I've only just found the site and LOVE it! I've been keeping fish on and off for nearly 15 years now (lots of moving from one country to another). I've been lucky enough to have a new neighbour here in Seville, Spain who likes big tanks and shares an enthusiasm for animals of all kinds. He kindly gave me a 55 gallon tank (an extra one he had taking up space) and here I am back in business again.
Keeping big fish in Spain isn't that big, at least not here in Seville, so big tanks are hard to come by and expensive. I've also been thinking of getting a silver arowana, but know I might have to consider building my own tank. Back in Canada I have a few and they were a pleasure to own.
Presently I have an Oscar, a black ghost knife and few cichlids. Will try to post some pics soon.
