Hi all,

I've been lurking for a little while and thought I'd join in!

I have two tanks:

A general community tank - Kribs, Mollies, Black Neons, Corys and the like all breathing a sigh of relief that bully boy Sharky has moved to:

A recently set-up 350litre (92USgallons) corner tank with some juvvie monster fish and my 11 year old Rainbow Shark in. Currently Sharky rules the roost and keeps the young whipper snappers in line but I'm not sure how long he's going to get away with it!

Hello fellow UK person!

11 years seems a good age for a rainbow shark, well done.

Hi Jayne and thanks - he has to share the honour of my 'oldest fish' as I have a Khulli loach the same age.

Welcome to MFK :)

Welcome to MFK, what young monster fish have you put in your large tank ?

Thanks. :)

I have a couple of Oscars, Jack Dempseys, and a Delhezi Polypterus. Also a couple of Bristlenoses and a 4 line Catfish to help with the cleaning!

not sure about the Delhezi Polypterus never had anything to do with them.
but I would think if, IF. the aggression with ther 2 Osacrs are good it would work in this tank.

That's the shape bolty.

This is the current set-up, it's just a case of seeing how it works for now. Considering getting the Jacks their own tank so they can breed in peace.
