Hello - I don't have any fish right now, but I used to have a pleco named Crusty who died a couple of months ago. Crusty grew to about 20 inches (50 cm) long and was about 8 years old. I know plecos can get much older than that, so I'd like to look around on this site to try to find out what I did wrong, if anything. Crusty was such a good pet - he loved music! I really miss him. I look forward to learning more here!

Hello, bettagurl - I'm just outside of Petersburg. I see you're in Hampton - my sister lives in Norfolk! Thanks for the encouragement. I always thought I took good care of Crusty. It would help if I didn't feel it was my fault that he got sick, but then if it was I'd still like to know so I wouldn't make the same mistake if I have other plecos.
