Just thought I would introduce myself. Some of you might already know me but for those who don't my name is Tom. I am from MI and I am 29. I got into fishkeeping when I was a little guy, my first fish was a largemouth bass I caught. When I was 14 I had 6 tanks set up with your more common cichlids, texas, oscars, and jack dempseys. When I got my own house a few years ago I decided to buy a 180gal tank and my main focus was pike cichlids I have owned quite a few different species including Johanna, venezuelan, xingu I, saxitallis, lepidota, and 'redfaced lugubris'. My main focus now is anything of the parachromis/nandopsis family. Currently I am keeping and breeding two dovii pairs, one common motaguense pair. I am trying to breed Haitienis, grammodes and istlanum. Also good news as of yesterday a friend of mine just found a female gold jag for my male, so I have yet one more breeding project. Other fish include red tiger motaguense, trimacs, and one labiatus.
Glad to be a new member I am looking forward to learning more, and helping others out.
