Hello everyone! My name is Lon. I am getting back into fish keeping after 17 years away from the hobby. My kids are old enough now that all they need from me is cash and an occasion ride, LOL. So with all the pressure at work and recently being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, my wife suggest back in August that I get the 125 gallon that I held on to set back up. Little did she know what she had started! I have 8 tanks set up already and a central air system to boot and have cleared space for another fish-room! Man I wish I never packed it in in the first place. Lots of things have changed in the hobby, but more has stayed the same! I am looking forward to hanging out on here a bit and hopefully getting to know some of you, and telling a few fish stories myself. I am mostly into African Cichlids but also have tanks with angels and other fish common to the hobby fish as well. By the way, what ever happened to the under gravel filter? Seems like no one uses them, well at least not on YouTube.
