Hi!
My name is Jen, and I have been lurking this site for a few days, lusting away at all of the home built shark tanks and the giant 50,000 gallon basement aquarium. I decided to join mostly because I get made fun of my my sister and boyfriend for spending hours looking up aquariums and equipment, but most of all, my unhealthy want/need to one day own black tip sharks. /sigh.
so, i am here to learn, research, and start small with a ten gallon salt water aquarium. i have only ever had freshwater. mollys, neon tetras, etc. then i realize i work too much and that i dont have the time to keep them. well, now, i make my own hours at work, and live five minutes away, thus starting my urge to fish keep once again.
i ramble, i do apologize. anyhow, over the course of the next two years, i am going to save money, learn through trial and error and from fellow mfk users, what i need to know and do before i even attempt a shark aquarium.
it should be nice getting to know everyone. for now i must learn to navigate this site, because it has taken me fifteen minutes to figure out how to post this damn thing!
