Time to add a top loving fish, maybe African butterflyfish
that is a really good looking fish and i've been thinking of adding an upper or middle-lane fish. but african butterfly fish seem to prefer still water. mine has a bit of current due to the aerator

the water flows like this

my bichirs and feeder goldfish that i used for fish-in cycling doesn't mind the moving water but african butterfly fish might get stressed by it.

may an arowana?

Will need large polys and maybe a different type of knife if considering an arowana.

The tank will need to be large as well. Do u need to keep some current?

Maybe some red tail payara. They like current.

i just removed the aerator from the pump that causes the current. im using it instead for another tray of trickle filters

i need to buy more media

im actually not that much of a fan of arowana. im just thinking of some good middle or top lane fish. my friend keeps polys with his arowana but i remember his polys are of a larger species
