sweet :) i'm in the process of just updating my tank at the moment. hopefully ill be getting hold of a 120gallon tank in 2 days time wen its set up and ready to be stocked i'll get some pictures up with the same lens i used for the above picture :asianarow so tell me red devil whats your pride and joy and what do you house it in ? x

welcome aboard, what kind of fish do ya keep. Any Monsters?

Unfortunatly i'm laking in the monster department at the moment, like i said i'v got a new tank i'm watching on the net right this very second 120 gallons so hopefully that'll be housing some sort of large cichlid if not 2. i'm thinking along the lines of tiger oscars also been looking at getting a GM flower horn, i have a thing for fish with exagerated features. anyways i'll go thru my 2 current rather feeble setups. The first being a minimilst tank i use to keep my betta in ;) mini monster.

Dimentions: 48" x 15" x 12"
i'm using two small internal filters for this tank just enough to break the water surface, being a betta it doesnt like loadsa current and it being so small its bio load is really small so no need for huge filtration media :) keeping it the right tempreture with a 300w aquadistri BV unit. tanks lit by a single 42" 38w T8 marine moonlight bulb, think it gives the tank a really nice minimilist marine kinda feel especially witht he white sand. the picture below shows the rest :) (Pic 1)
Unfortunatly both tanks being in my bedroom i am regretably having to sell this tank aswell as my other tank to make room for my 120g.

Right as for the second tank, like i said i like keeping fish with rediculous exagerated features that arnt at all usefull in real life scenarios, thats why i keep fancy goldfish ;) OH YEA. where they lack in monster size the gain in being monstrositys lol. i have no idea what im going to do with these little monsters when i wanna get a propa monster. ANYWAYS the tank.

Dimentions: 48" x 18" x 15"
i am currently using a fluval 4+ internal filter for this tank as my eheim unit has seen better days, i am ordering my fx5 tomorrow hopefully. due to my external filter being K.I.A I'm running my uv steriliser with a maxijet powerhead which works really well beleive it or not. i chose to go with a higher end uv unit because iv heard al sorts of bad stuff about the cheap units, im using a vecton 200 (pic 3). i really do recomend using uv units i'v had absolutely no disease, infection or algae blooms all the time iv used it great bit of kit. Tanks lit by two 42" 38w T8s. bubbles provided by a cheap air pump named " elite 802 ", only god knows who make it.

But yea there my little monsters ;)
not quite the monsters this site reknownd for but i'm sure that you'll be in for some updates soon on bigger tanks and much bigger fish :) x
