Hello MFK

Hi folks, this is my first post with Monster Fish Keepers, and I'm just learning about posting. We have three large tanks...each tank has one major fish in it. The tiger shovel nose catfish (18" or so) is on his own. The baby Oscar is in a smaller tank with small fish until he is big enough to determine whether or not he will be a good match for the TSN. We also have Black Ghost Knife in a community tank. He's about 12" and about eleven years old. He doesn't dig, he doesn't bother the few fish that we have in with him...a Bhetta, a Cory, some black skirts...he likes his private space. He loves bloodworms and I can hand feed him. He's always been great with small fish, but a couple of weeks ago, I made the mistake of putting three Sunbursts in with him...and...
they were all gone in the a.m. My mistake. He is easy to look after and amazing to live with.

Munroser would love to see that bgk.Mine is 6 inches now ,i think he is stunning.I call him "macka" (mack the knife).

Sounds like a cool fish! Maybe post some pics in the photo lounge of that one? And welcome to MFK!

Hmmm...posting is one thing...posting a picture is another. I actually have a short video clip of him bombing around his tank...I will try to figure out how to post a picture. Thanks for responding to my "hello"...good thing the moderator moved me to the "introduce yourself" section.

I keep thinking that I am this really competent person......and I realize that I could learn a lot from these sites, but first I need to learn how to use them....

Hmm...I think I just posted two pictures in the picture gallery without any explanation of who they are. One is the Ghost Knife (12")...no name...but he's only eleven years of age. The other is Walter the Tiger Shovel Nose Catfish (18")...named by someone else. Now I will see if I can find the pictures...probably not because every time I log in it says "Welcome Munroser, our records indicate that you have never posted before etc." ... but now I'm sure I have......I think...
