I am very happy to be able to introduce myself. I was looking for an "intro" thread and thought I missed it. Low and behold it was almost at the bottom of the page!!! Anyhow, I am the proud owner of one large tank as well as a few smaller ones. The fish that own me are 14 clown loaches, 12 boesmani rainbows and about ten neons.

Although, I am not technically a MONSTER fish keeper, I do have a semi monster tank and surely have monster filtration on both tanks which I can't wait to share in the appropriate threads.

Not sure how much info is supposed to go into these "intro" threads but I am happy to say that I am a 12 year career NCO in the US Air Force as well is my wife. She is currently in San Antonio and I am in D.C.

I hope to get some good photos up for you all soon, although you may not consider me "monster", I will give it my best.

I do think that the Clowns may end up being pretty big given enough time. They are currently in a 135 that was custom made just for them... yeh I am a sucker. the tank in 8' by 18" by 18". It is set up with powerheads on one end (1200 GPH total) and intake filters on the other. Can't wait to show it off but I am in TX now with my wife. It is also planted, along with my other tank with C02 injection ( not set up yet)

Welcome to MFK, we have a few members of the AF on here as well as other services. I'm an Army vet and always look foward to seeing members of the milatary past and present join the site. Thank you for your service to our country.
 
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I can't wait to get back and get some good photos for you all. My wife is PCS'ing out of Fort Sam Houston right now and moving up to Langley, VA. I am still at Andrews for the next year but at least we are only 3 hours away now. Once we get settled I will show you all my projects!
